Use of a search warrant Friday in the 400 block of South Griffith in Hannibal yields two arrests.
Hannibal Police say members of their Anti Crime Enforcement Squad used a search warrant for narcotics. The search revealed cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Police say 62-year-old Ramonda Acheampong was arrested for possession of cocaine. 26-year-old Andrew Newton was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police say both were released pending warrants or court appearances. Hannibal Police were assisted by the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit.
