Two Arrested in Hannibal Drug Case
Officers of the Hannibal Police Department Narcotics Unit received information, Tuesday morning, of a possible methamphetamine lab at a residence in the 1200 block of Church St. Officers responded and a consent search of the residence revealed items commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, 3 firearms and a felony amount of what is believed to be marijuana.
31-year-old Timothy M. Brokes, of Hannibal, was arrested and placed on a 24 hour hold for manufacturing methamphetamine. 37-year-old David W. Swank, also of Hannibal, was arrested and placed on a 24 hour hold for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
On Wednesday a warrant was issued by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court, charging Timothy M. Brokes with the Class B Felony of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only. Brokes remains in the Marion County Jail.
