The execution of a search warrant by the Hannibal Police Department’s Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad Thursday results in two arrests.

The search of the residence in the 800 block of Hayward Street resulted in the discovery of a substance that was believed to be methamphetamine.

Taken into custody was 47 year old Deanna Motley of Hannibal. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and a probation and parole warrant.

Another occupant of the residence, 31 year old Lauren Phillips, was arrested on a municipal warrant.

Phillips posted bond and was released. Motley was taken to the Marion County Jail.

The Hannibal Building Inspector’s office was contacted and the house was marked due to the positive test for meth.
