Two Arrested for Vehicle Burglaries in Lewis County

(CANTON)—Lewis County authorities report two arrests in a series of vehicle burglaries in the last month. 18-year-old Colton Murphy and a 16-year-old male juvenile are suspected in the break-ins around rural Canton and Monticello.

Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies say Murphy is charged with theft of a credit device and that he’s suspected in a Clark County burglary.

Deputies recovered stolen property. More arrests are pending.
