Trucker Ticketed for Hitting Auto Parts Building

A truck driver from Kirksville is arrested by Hannibal Police as the result of a traffic crash at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts on Highway 61 South at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday.

HPD reports the truck struck the southeast corner of the business causing damage to the building.

The driver, identified only as a 31 year old male was arrested and released with a summons for operating the vehicle with a suspended license.

It is believed a mechanical failure caused the truck to crash.

HPD was assisted by the Hannibal Fire Department and Hannibal Building Inspector.
