A Troy woman is arrested after her SUV strikes a motorcycle and a van Friday evening.

Missouri Troopers say 50-year-old Val Stuckel was traveling on Highway 47 in Lincoln County when her vehicle crossed the center line and sideswiped a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The cycle was driven by 48-year-old Gary Etthington of Winfield. Etthington was thrown from the bike. He suffered serious injuries and went to Barnes Jewish Hospital by Air Evac.

The Stuckel vehicle continued on and struck a van head-on driven by 35 year-old Jennifer Jordan of Winfield.  Jordan suffered moderate injuries.  A 10 year-old male passenger reported minor injuries.  Both went to St. Joseph’s West Hospital by ambulance.

Stuckel had minor injuries and went to Lincoln County Medical Center by private conveyance. The Highway Patrol later arrested Stuckel on Felony Assault 2nd Degree, and Driving While Intoxicated.
