A Kirksville woman becomes the 15th person to die in a Northeast Missouri traffic crash  this year. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the rollover crash on MO 6 claimed the life of 22- year-old Robin Helm.  Troopers say Helm lost control of her westbound car 4 miles west of Edina on MO 6  Saturday afternoon.  Her car traveled off the roadway and overturned.

A two-car crash in Lewis County injures both Canton drivers shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday.  The State Patrol reports a pickup driven by 19-yr-old Sean Pearl crossed the center line of Highway 81, 4 miles north of Canton.  His vehicle struck an oncoming car driven by 20-yr-old Austin Karl. Pearl sustained serious injuries and went to Blessing Hospital by ambulance.  Austin Karl reported minor injuries and was to seek his own medical treatment.

A Hannibal woman escapes with minor injuries after losing control of her car on railroad tracks in Ralls County Saturday morning.  The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 65-yr-old Patricia Holman was traveling on US 36 at Route J, 3 miles east of Monroe City.  Troopers say Holman lost control on the tracks, crossed both east and westbound lanes of US 36 before striking an embankment.  Her car came to rest in a creek.  Holman was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital by ambulance.
