Tri Township Firefighters Extinguish Trailer Fire

Tri Township firefighters extinguish a fire in a U-Haul trailer at midday Tuesday.Firefighters were called to 2321 St. Anthony’s Road where they found the 26 foot long trailer on fire. The road was closed for a time as flames were extinguished and contents were removed from the trailer. Driver Norman Hickman says the trailer caught fire after  mechanical problems. The trailer sustained major damage and was towed from the scene.
