Trapped By Pit Bulls

Ralls County Sheriff’s deputies say two females are safe after being trapped against a fence by pit bulls Wednesday morning.

Deputies say the women were working with their horses in a pasture when the unrestrained dogs began to attack them. As deputies arrived and tried to rescue the women, sheriff’s reports say one of the animals attempted to attack the deputies.

The aggressive animal was euthanized on the scene. One dog fled and the other was returned to its enclosure by the sheriff’s department.
