Hannibal Police say they found what was believed to be marijuana, heroin and prescription pills during a traffic stop on Friday.

According to a release from the Hannibal Police Department, 22-year-old David A. Mayfield of Hannibal was stopped in the 900 block of Broadway and gave officers consent to search his vehicle. After the suspected substances were found, Mayfield was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail.

A warrant charging Mayfield with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver was issued by the Circuit Court of Marion County on October 11.

Mayfield remains in the Marion County Jail on a $100,000.00 cash-only bond.
