Tracy Malone Makes First Court Appearance in Stabbing Case
A Chicago man was charged with attempted first degree murder Tuesday in connection with a stabbing incident early Monday morning.
Bond was set at a million dollars for 26-year-old Tracy Malone.
Malone is alleged to have stabbed 23-year-old Mary C.E. Parker 34 times with a steak knife during an altercation just after 3 a.m. Monday at 628 Lind.
Quincy Police had been called to the residence Sunday night after a disturbance between Malone and Parker. Malone was arrested on an outstanding warrant, posted bond and returned to the residence.
Parker’s injuries were described by police as non-life threatening.
Malone is expected to make a court appearance with his public defender Wednesday.
