Three Payson residents face charges following a drug investigation by West Central Illinois Task Force agents at 310 Sumac in Payson. Agents say 34-year-old Nicole Carpenter, 29-year-old Michael Lish and 50-year-old Geri Epping were arrested for aggravated unlawful participation in meth production, unlawful possession of meth manufacturing materials and possession of meth along with meth related child endangerment.

A four-year-old child found sleeping in the residence was turned over to a family member. Department of Children and Family Services representatives will investigate.

Carpenter, Lish and Epping are held in the Adams County Jail.
