A traffic stop Wednesday evening on I-72 in Pike County results in three arrests.

West Central Illinois Task Force agents say they stopped a car driven by 24 year old Aireyana Gipson of Kirksville. An Illinois State Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle and an ounce of heroin was seized. Gipson was also wanted on an Adams County arrest warrant and was later found to be in possession of marijuana. Gipson was taken to the Pike County Jail in Pittsfield on a variety of charges. Task force agents say a passenger in the car—32 year old Michael Bell of Hannibal was arrested for criminal drug conspiracy. Another passenger—Anthony Swan—was found to be wanted on an Adams County arrest warrant. Swan and Bell were taken to the Pike County Jail. Members of the Hannibal Police Department Anti Crime Enforcement Unit assisted in the investigation.
