Tax Bills Are Coming

County real estate and personal property tax bills should be showing up in your mailbox. Marion County Collector Mary Ann Viorel says they went out earlier this month.

You can pay by cash or check in person at the courthouses in Palmyra or Hannibal. You can also mail in your payment or use the after hours drop box.

Hannibal residents will notice that their bills are up substantially. Viorell says this is because Marion County is now collecting taxes on behalf of the City of Hannibal. Those taxes are due by December 31st.
