The Annual United Way of Adams County Restaurant Days promotion is underway. Each day in August, when you dine at a participating restaurant, a percentage of your check will be donated to the United Way.
Someone in the Quincy area has possession of a Quick Pick Illinois Lottery ticket worth $275,000 and they probably don’t even know it. The ticket was purchased at the County Market at 24th and Spring store in Quincy.
Restaurant Days for August are now history with 31 area restaurants donating a portion of their receipts to the United Way of Adams County on their selected day. With that campaign completed the next event for the public to help out is the Annual United Way Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Saturday,September 14, at the 24th & Spring County Market in Quincy.
