Culver Stockton's Ellison Poulton Stadium will have a different look for the coming football and soccer season.

CSC Athletic Director Greg McVey announced the installation of a synthetic playing surface will start soon and be ready by August 12. The playing surface will be called NXLevel Field at Ellison Poulton Stadium. NXLevel Sportswear is an athletic sportswear company based in Phoenix Arizona. 1980 Culver Stockton graduate Terry Ahern is the owner and managing partner of NXLevel.

Ahern says "One of the reasons I was interested in backing the project is that I had seen the changes over the years at the stadium, with the addition of the track and new pressbox. I felt a new turf field would nearly complete the transformation of the facility."

In return, the Wildcat athletic department will purchase all its competition, practice and coaching gear through NXLevel for the next ten years.

Sports Field Engineering of Westboro Massachusetts will be installing the new, state of the art playing surface.
