SUV Overturns Near Bowling Green

(Bowling Green, Mo)—A Bowling Green woman’s SUV overturns after a collision near the intersection of Pike County Route UU and Highway 61. 

Missouri troopers say 43 year-old Laura Shellhorse was traveling westbound on Route UU at 8:45 Saturday morning. A van driven by 34 year-old Johanna Riggs of O’Fallon was exiting US 61 and failed to stop at the stop sign.  The van struck the side of the Shellhorse vehicle, causing it to crash into a guardrail and overturn onto its side.

Shellhorse suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital by private conveyance.
