Surgeon Arrested on Meth Charges

(Quincy) – Police, deputies and task force agents served a search warrant at an apartment at 621 North 5th Street in Quincy Friday.

The search revealed methamphetamine, cannabis and drug paraphernalia. 43-year-old Matthew Surgeon was arrested a short time later, charged with unlawful possession of meth, cannabis and drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.

Surgeon was taken to the Adams County Jail.
