The trial of a Hannibal man in connection with the murder of a convenience store clerk has been postponed.
A pretrial hearing for 31-year-old Michael Studer that was to have taken place Monday was continued. Studer’s was to have gone to trial March 25 in Boone County.

Studer and 23-year-old Gary Wiltermood are charged with second degree murder in connection with the October 8th shooting death of 61-year-old Adrienne Arnett at the Abel’s Quik Shop on Shinn Lane west of Hannibal.

Wiltermood is scheduled to stand trial April 30. A new trial date for Studer has not been set.

The trials were moved from Marion County on a change of venue.
