(QUINCY)--A report of a stolen pickup truck early Tuesday morning results in two arrests. Adams County Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a pickup stolen from Prince Mineral on Radio Road.

The truck was recovered in a mobile home park on Quincy’s north side. During the investigation 28-year-old Dean Hogan reported his personal vehicle stolen but it had already been recovered from a drainage ditch on West 5th near Radio Road.

The investigation determined that Hogan and 31-year-old Richard Chatfield took the truck from Prince Mineral after the Hogan car submerged in the drainage ditch.

Hogan is charged with theft… filing a false report and leaving the scene of an accident. Chatfield is charged with theft.
