Still Cleaning Up After the Flood of ’08

(EAST HANNIBAL)—Work crews are using the dry weather to their advantage to finish cleanup from the Flood of ’08. Sny Drainage District Superintendant Mike Reed says they’re getting the plastic and sandbags off a 1.1 mile stretch of levee just east of Hannibal. Reed says the area across from Hannibal presented cleanup problems because of weather since the flood….

The work is considered routine.
