(Quincy) – A Quincy man is sentenced Wednesday to 16 years in prison for two separate methamphetamine-related counts.
41 year old Shawn Steele was arrested with four other people last July. He bonded out of jail in October, and just two hours before he was scheduled to plead guilty in January and get an eight-year sentence, police said he was caught again in a house near Sixth and College with meth production materials.
Steele told Judge William Mays he was pleading guilty to participation in meth production because he did not want to face additional charges.
