ST. LOUIS (AP) - A broken pipe is blamed for a massive plume of steam Thursday in downtown St. Louis. The 20-inch steam pipe broke beneath North 11th Street, near the America's Center convention center, around 6:45 a.m. No injuries were reported, but steam could be seen from miles away and the street buckled near the site.
