A Quincy veterinarian has had his license suspended after being accused of animal cruelty.

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Wednesday approved a consent order suspending the license of Dr. Andrew Kaiser indefinitely for the next three years.

The 67 year old Kaiser had waived his right to a hearing on the charges January 10th.

The 15 count complaint against Kaiser included three counts of alleged unprofessional conduct.

Meanwhile, Kaiser faces one count of animal cruelty in Adams County, with a trial set for April 10th.
