State Representative Riggs Receives Committee Assignments

Northeast Missouri’s new Fifth District State Representative has received his committee assignments for the current session of the Missouri legislature.

House Speaker Elijah Haahr announced the selection of Louis Riggs to serve on the House Budget, Workforce Development, Economic Development, Joint Committee on Government Accountability and Appropriations-Health, Mental Health and Social Services Committees.

Riggs says these were all committees that he sought appointment to, especially workforce and economic development.

Riggs says he looks forward to working with Governor Mike Parson on their shared priority of workforce development.
