Stardust, Pirate Pride Intersection to Close Tuesday Night

If you travel McMasters Avenue in Hannibal, your trip is about to get even more inconvenient.

As part of the McMasters Avenue project, MODOT crews recently closed the center turn lane to traffic from Highway 36 to Stardust Drive.

Now, starting Tuesday night, work crews will close access from Highway 61 to Stardust Drive and Pirate Pride Drive.

MODOT officials say improvements will be made on the intersection, including marked crosswalks on all four quadrants of the intersection.

The intersection will be closed about 8 p.m. Tuesday and will remain closed through the first of August.
