St. Louis Judge May Be Removed From Bench

A judge in St. Louis is facing possible removal from the bench after a special commission concluded she turned some duties over to her clerks, often showed up late and tried to cover up her destruction of a court document. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Missouri's Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline has voted to recommend Associate Circuit Judge Barbara Peebles' removal.
