It was certainly sad to hear of the overnight fire that destroyed Sprout's Inn in Quincy. We had some of our corporate people in for a meet and greet yesterday, and the department heads met with them first for breakfast at Sprout's. This also brings back memories of the many times we've eaten there. My wife and I would head there quite often, especially when we lived closer. We've broken bread with kids, grandkids and friends there over the years. In preparing for one of the weddings I performed, my initial meeting with the couple was at Sprout's. We've been part of Walk to Emmaus and Cursillo post weekend gatherings, and this year's Liberty Tax Service post-peak party was there. The good news is that Sprout's will be back. The owners have already announced they will rebuild on the same site. So, the 72 year Quincy tradition that is Sprout's Inn will continue.
