A social media post results in a school lockdown and the arrest of a Sante Fe, Missouri teen.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Paris R-II School District Thursday afternoon after a staff member reported a possible threat received via social media. The message involved a picture of Jason Lansche with a cover over his face and the message “Bout to shoot up the school” across the photo.

Authorities located Lansche a short time later at a local store.  Lansche told deputies the picture was " just a joke".  Deputies arrested Lansche on charges of making a terrorist threat in the 3rd Degree.  He was taken to the Monroe County Jail.
