Sexual Assault and Kidnapping Arrest

(QUINCY)—Quincy Police report an arrest in a Friday afternoon sexual assault on a parking lot in the 500 block of North 24th. During the investigation Quincy Police found that the victim was taken to 7320 County Road 426 in Marion County west of Hannibal. Police identify Joseph Shuck as the suspect. Quincy Police and Marion County Sheriffs deputies also say Shuck is a suspect in an October 21st 2012 sexual assault that started in Quincy and ended at that Marion County address. Police say Shuck is charged with aggravated kidnapping… aggravated criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Shuck is held in the Adams County Jail.
