Sentencing Scheduled for Former Canton MO Officer

(QUINCY)—Sentencing is March 26th in Adams County Circuit Court for a former Canton Police officer following his guilty plea on aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges. 25 year old Jamie Bell entered a guilty plea on the charge in August. Bell was arrested on February 22 of 2012 on a charge involving a victim between the ages of 13 and 16. Judge William Mayes will hand down the sentence. Bell could receive up to five years in prison.
