Senator Kirk to Return to Washington Next Month

CHICAGO (AP) - U.S. Senator Mark Kirk will return to work in Washington on January 3rd, one year after suffering a stroke that required months of rehabilitation. A spokeswoman for the Illinois Republican confirmed the date yesterday. The 53-year-old Kirk suffered a stroke which limited movement on the left side of his body.
