Semi Overturns on I-172 On Ramp

An overturned semi slowed traffic on the I-72… I-172 northbound interchange for several hours Wednesday.
Illinois Stater Police say the semi operated by 27 year old Lance Brown of Berger Missouri went off the roadway and overturned around 10:30 a-m. Approximately 170 hogs were in the trailer. The animals were taken from the scene by numerous stock trailers. Brown was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
