Second Arrest in Quincy Apartment Shooting

Quincy Police report a second arrest following a March 18 shooting in the 3100 block of State.
Police say 25 year old Christopher Beaver of Quincy was arrested Wednesday in the Chicago area by the U.S. Marshal’s Service. Beaver is charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm. Beaver is held in the Adams County Jail. Bond is set at $2 million. 29 year old Louis Jenkins of Quincy was arrested by Quincy Police early on the morning of March 19th following the wounding of a man in an apartment in the Country Club Heights complex.
