Search crews are retracing their steps as the search for a boater lost in the Mississippi River nearly a month ago continues.

Officials with the Quincy Area Volunteer Emergency Corps say that they are going over previously searched areas from the mouth of Curtis Creek to the place near Lock and Dam 21 where the boat with three men on board, including 19 year old Ean Reinold, capsized October 14th.

Search crews have been helped with sonar equipment from Christian Aid Ministries, and a helicopter from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Reinold and two others were in a 16 foot johnboat when a wave sank the boat. Deckhands from Canton Marine Towing rescued the other two, but Reinold disappeared from sight.
