Schuyler County Substitute Teacher Charged with Underage Sex

A northeast Missouri substitute teacher has been charged with having sex with an underage boy.

Officials in Schuyler County report the arrest of 35 year old Katrina Kraus of Memphis for second degree statutory rape and second degree statutory sodomy.

Kraus is alleged to have had sexual relations with a juvenile multiple times from June to October of 2017.

Authorities say the contact began when the boy was 14 and continued after he turned 15.

Also, Scotland County Sheriff Joe Wuebker reports that some of the encounters between Kraus and the juvenile happened in Scotland County, so it’s possible that additional charges could be filed there.

Kraus is in the Adair County Law Enforcement Center on $15,000 cash only bond.
