School Violence Expert Coming to Hannibal

(Hannibal)—A noted expert on school violence comes to Hannibal Thursday evening to share his research.

Dr. Peter Langman has trained thousands of law enforcement and school personnel on violence prevention.

He is scheduled to speak at the Hannibal LaGrange Roland Fine Arts Center at 7 pm. Thursday, May 2nd.

Langman’s book titled, “Why Kids Kill”, looks at the psychological profile of 10 different shooters.  The book attracted the attention of the Hannibal Public School system, who partnered with a number of community organizations to bring Langman to Hannibal.

The event is free and open to the public.
