Saverton Man Seriously Injured in Tractor Mishap

Marion County, Mo)—A Saverton man sustains serious injuries after a tractor accident at 1:45 Saturday afternoon.  The Missouri State Patrol says 67 year-old Oliver Spratt of Saverton and 64 year-old George Goldinger of Hannibal were working on levee maintenance near Highway 168 and Marion County Road 413.

While changing a construction implement, the tractor rolled forward, causing serious injuries to Spratt who was working beneath it.

Spratt was flown by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
