NEW YORK (AP) - A major milestone in New York Mets history came at the expense of the St. Louis Cardinals. Johan Santana tossed the first no-hitter in Mets history and the Mets cruised to an 8-0 victory last night. Carlos Beltran, who was traded away from the Mets last July, hit a liner over third in the sixth that hit the foul line, but the umpire called it foul. Adam Wainwright took the loss for St. Louis.
