The Salvation Army is once again teaming up with Quincy Firefighters Local 63 to help ensure there will be toys under the tree for local kids who otherwise wouldn’t have them. The morning of Thursday, December 13th at 7:30am, firefighters will meet at Walmart in Quincy to buy some of the toy requests left on their Angel Tree.

Tags, listing a child’s age, and toy requests for Christmas are placed on trees at Quincy Mall and Walmart. Individuals and groups take the tags from the trees, shop for children and return the items with the tags to The Salvation Army, who in turn distribute the gifts to area families.

The Salvation Army Toy Town distribution will take place, for those who have applied, on Wednesday, December 19th & Thursday, December 20th at the old Quincy Discount Carpet building located at 224 South 8th in Quincy.
