The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) has been mobilized for assistance to those in Hannibal in the most need of emergency necessities after Monday night’s severe weather.

On Tuesday, contact was made with Hannibal Emergency Management Director, John Hark, to determine immediate needs of Hannibal residents. The Quincy mobile EDS canteen truck spent several hours delivering water and food to residents in Hannibal as well as Hannibal-LaGrange University.

The Salvation Army EDS canteen will be available in Hannibal today, and as needed, to distribute to first-responders and those in most need of emergency hydration and food.
