Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on highway 24 one mile east of Salisbury Saturday (Jan 30).

The incident happened when the vehicles of Mark D. Prior of Bowling Green and the vehicle of Corinna L. Moore 35 of Moberly struck each other while westbound on highway 24 after an uninvolved vehicle lost part of its load while on the roadway and Prior and Moore both attempted to dodge it.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries. While Prior chose to seek his own treatment, Moore was transported to Moberly Regional Hospital for treatment. Both vehicles were moderately damaged.

It was found that Prior was not wearing a safety device. It could not be determined whether Moore was using one or not.
