(Hannibal)--Hannibal police did not have to go far to apprehend a stalker yesterday just after 3:30 in the afternoon.  The alleged male stalker followed the female victim to the police station, where police took the man into custody on charges of DWI, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia, as well as stalking charges.

Police also responded to numerous fireworks calls overnight, and report many drivers were caught on camera running red lights at the 4 camera-controlled intersections along Highway 61.  The police blotter shows over 23 stoplight violations in a 24-hour period ending at 6 a.m. this morning.
