Route Z Crash Injures One

(MONROE CITY)—A pickup truck crash Wednesday morning results in moderate injuries for a Philadelphia man. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a pickup driven by 56 year old Billy Cook went off Route Z two miles north of Monroe City at 9:40 a-m. Troopers say Cook over-corrected and his pickup went off the road and hit an embankment. Cook was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
