Crennel did see some positives...

After a rocky start, the Chiefs first unit appeared to settle in down the stretch in the first half. Matt Cassel and most of the projected regulars among the skill positions did not play in the second half.  Much of the first unit defense also spent the second half on the sidelines as the Chiefs were evaluating potential newcomers.
