Roadwork will Impact Busy Hannibal Intersection

(Hannibal, Mo)—Pavement repair work scheduled tomorrow morning will temporarily close one leg of a busy interchange in Hannibal, weather permitting.

MoDOT crews plan to close the eastbound US 36 ramp to US 61 South in Hannibal from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The exit ramp will be closed to all eastbound US 36 traffic exiting to US 61; eastbound drivers should continue on to the next exit at MO 79 (Mark Twain Avenue), where they can turn around to US 36 and head west to the US 61 exit.

The closure is necessary due to the tight confined area of the work zone.
