Road Work to Begin on Highway 79 South of Hannibal

(Hannibal)--Weather permitting, beginning Monday December 3rd through Friday December 7th, MODOT plans to begin replacing sections of concrete on Highway 79 just south of Hannibal.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily from the Mark Twain Cave to Continental Cement. One-lane traffic may be extended later into the evening in order to allow adequate drying time for the concrete. Drivers are urged to use extra caution in the work area.
