Road Work Starts Today on Route 19

If you are planning on driving on Missouri Route 19 anytime for the next couple of months be prepared for some delays.

Effective today, resurfacing work will begin along Route 19 from New London to Missouri Route 154. Expect one lane traffic is some locations while old pavement is removed and new pavement work is being done.

MoDOT estimates that over 500 vehicles utilize this stretch of highway. Alternate routes might be in order for the next couple of months.  Bross Construction is head contractor for the project which is estimated to cost over $4-million.
