As weather permits, resurfacing work on Missouri 6 begins Thursday.
MODOT officials say the work will begin at Missouri 15 in Edina and end 17 miles to the east at Lewis County Route D-D. Traffic will be reduced to one late at short intervals throughout the project as the contractor begins milling work. Chester Bross Construction of Palmyra is the contractor for the 1.66 million dollar project. Traffic will be reduced from one lane at various locations between 7 a-m and 7 p-m weekdays during the project.
