Ralls County Sheriffs Seeks Information on Abduction, Assault

The Ralls County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an abduction and sexual assault that took place over the weekend.

According to the Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook page, an unknown subject is being sought for an alleged abduction and sexual assault that took place between 1 and 5 a.m. Saturday in the area of the 200 block of South Main Street and Barkley Cemetery in New London.

Deputies are looking for a 40 to 50 year old black male with light skin, heavy set and about six feet tall.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes. It’s possible he could also have blue rubber medical gloves with him.

He was driving a black two door car with a black interior and unknown license plate.
